Well, I have been busy. With the first market of the season tomorrow in Dennistoun, it has been a bit of a scrabble to get everything together. I still need to sit down this afternoon with my suitcase of stock and see how it’s going but there are a few new things in the shop for a start, including the first new fabric purses in ages. As always, they’re made from the cutest Japanese fabric with pretty linings, hand-stitched detailing and vintage buttons. I have a bunch more to finish as well – hopefully I will get some done during the quiet times tomorrow. You can check out all the new stuff here.
You’ll also note my new photo style! The shop has had a minor facelift and all the main product shots have this pretty border. Although I’m generally happy with my photos, I thought they could do with a bit of perking up, and it means they’ll hopefully be instantly recogniseable as my work wherever you see them. I hope you like! I’ve also added a new tweak to the shop which points out when there’s only 1 of something available so you know what to pounce on before it’s too late.
And finally, as well as posting dailyish on Super Cute Kawaii, I’m also resident Friday poster on the Glasgow Craft Mafia blog where I’m posting up a few fun links every week to help you while away the hours before your weekend starts.
