Friday Catch Up #10

About to stomp on my house at the Glasgow exhibition.

What have I been up to this week?

My apple shoes at the Glasgow exhibition at The Lighthouse. My sister is visiting so we went in for a look. It had a big aerial map of Glasgow on the floor for you to walk over, which was pretty fun, plus a giant Tunnock’s Wafer, some flyover videos and an Amazing Cube where you get to watch Glasgow grow through history. It wasn’t quite as exciting as they seemed to think, but we still enjoyed it.

Lemon meringue cupcake and plum & cherry drink.

Eating out…

at the newish Cup Tea Lounge. It’s very fancy compared to the West End branch, but the cupcakes are just as good. I got Lemon Meringue again (as doodled previously) and a lovely Plum & Cherry drink.

Star Trek Into Darkness, which was enormous fun but not really very Star Trekky, and Gatsby, which was a lot more faithful to the book than I was expecting, almost to its detriment. It looked amazing though – glad I saw it on the big screen.
