asking for trouble

Black Friday Preview

Black Friday seems to be here to stay in the UK, but I’m not really a big fan, particularly since we don’t even get to eat Thanksgiving dinner before. All it means here is that people start their Christmas shopping later and later and expect huge discounts and immediate, free, shipping from even small shops.

This time of year is already make or break for a lot of small businesses so remember to support your favourite artists, makers and local shops, regardless of whether they can afford to offer discounts. Just A Card have started an Indie Friday promotion, so follow the #JACIndieFriday hashtag for great shopping suggestions.

This year I won’t be having a big discount as I have ongoing discounts and offers all through the year – there’s even a code inside all my orders! Instead, I’ll have some fun limited time deals, special items and a shipping offer that lasts for the rest of the year. Here’s a preview.

Black Friday lucky boxes

Stationery Lucky Boxes

You asked for more surprises so I’ve put together some boxes with a random selection of my stationery items. They’ll be £10 and contain at least £20 worth of cute stationery! Some items are available in my shop and others are older or discontinued. Only ten available!

Free UK shipping & £2 flat rate international shipping offers

This shipping offer is currently available on all orders over £25. I’ll be lowering it to £5 for the first ten orders, then £10 for the rest of the weekend. After that it will go up to £15 until the end of the year.

Asking For Trouble x Tizzalicious jewellery

Tizzalicious recently closed up shop and found some necklaces and earrings from a collaboration that we never quite finished. These pieces will be on sale at low prices with ALL proceeds going to BookTrust (as we’re both big readers). There are only a couple of each available.

New discounted items

The Sale section will be boosted with brand new additions to the shop including some weird Mt Fuji pins I’ve been hiding in my cupboard, the 5 Year Diaries I ordered for proofs and photographs, a few Happy Stars and some more flawed items.

On-demand Offers

There will also be some great discounts and offers on my designs at Society6, Redbubble & Zazzle. I’ll share the best ones on my blog and on social media.

Get early access

To get in first, make sure you’re signed up to my mailing list. Subscribers will get a few hours head start so lots could be gone before I share all the details here.
