asking for trouble

Recent Purchases: November – December

A last round up of what I’ve been buying recently.

catmas tree enamel pin

I didn’t go too crazy on Black Friday this year but I did pick up a Catmas Tree enamel pin from The Pink Samurai. It’s so huge and adorable and I am definitely wearing it on Christmas Day with my sparkly jumper.

Boden Christmas jumper

Sparkly jumper, you ask? This was my Black Friday splurge from Boden. It was a bit pricey but glitter rainbow stripe! Also sold out now so I was correct to grab it.

space shuttle necklace

I have literally eyed up this space shuttle necklace every time I’ve visited Hannah Zakari since it opened. I finally bought it and I’m so glad I did. It goes with everything, if you’re a space nerd.

Pusheen slippers

These Pusheen slippers were on my wish list a couple of months ago and have now replaced my well-worn fox slippers. I was a bit apprehensive that they would be too warm and/or too silly but I love them so much. The tail on the back does get caught under my desk chair wheels though.

amuse kawaii lucky cat plush

Nic covered Hyper Japan for SCK again this Christmas and I made her go back to Tofu Cute and get me one of the cat plushies after she posted a photo. How could I not?

meowchi bookshelf

One of my biggest purchases was yet another IKEA shelving unit. I moved the white Kallax from my bedroom into the studio and replaced it with this cool glossy turquoise grey. My Rainbow Rowell / Meowchi shelf looks even better now. Once I get my studio back in January I’ll take some new photos of my setup.

sumikko gurashi plush

After missing out on the new Sumikko Gurashi lizard plush, I gave in and figured out how to order directly from San-X Japan using Tenso. I was able to get the apple house at least, plus a ridiculous plush sofa and a Christmas Shirokuma! The Ghost and Dustball are just helping out – I already owned those. I’ll be doing a guide to using Tenso on SCK soon – it was really easy and now I will have to stop checking the San-X site every other day or I will go bankrupt.

I did buy some more enamel pins too but there are spoilers for Christmas gifts so, next time!
