First in an infrequent series.
Vintage ‘sparkle’ buttons from eBay
During my vintage button drought panic, I hopped on to eBay and snapped up a bunch of cool vintage buttons from a seller in the US. I got a small sack of random buttons for brooches and then saw these and had to have them too. When they arrived this week they were even more intricate and shiny than I imagined and I was pretty much mesmerised by them. I’m now plotting a new range to use them well.
Tshirt by Crowded Teeth
I’ve had a bit of a ‘no tshirts’ rule over the last year as it was becoming the lazy option in my wardrobe. Not buying tshirts meant I had to break out of my comfort zone in the mornings and wear something more exciting. It really has worked well but sometimes you have to break the rules, especially when you spot a tshirt with grey stripes, cute speech bubble ghosties and flocking. AND on sale! I think this is my fifth Crowded Teeth tshirt – they are always a great fit, darn cute and hardwearing. The sale is still on so get in there while you can.
Stickers from From Japan With Love
Etsy is a dangerous, dangerous place. I go there to add a few new things to the Etsy widget in my sidebar and BOOM, it’s 3 hours later and I’m trawling through pages and pages of cute stationery. Those Japanese stickers are perfect for my washi covered notebooks and I am seriously obsessed with the ridiculous Pankunchi so I had to get those too. She has so much awesome stuff in her shop so be warned!
Obviously I got some boring stuff in the mail too but I doubt you want to see my electricity bill.
