Wheee! Look at my wheel of washi covered notebooks! I was contacted a few weeks ago by a bride-to-be* who wanted to order lots of washi covered notebooks for wedding favours. What a lovely idea, I thought, so we struck a deal. Because she needed so many, the hardback notebooks were impracticably expensive so we used the cheaper cardboard cover notebooks I use for stamping. This adds an extra level of fun as I get to find complimentary patterns for the front and back,
I had to order so much washi and it’s all lovely. Some is quite traditional like the top papers and others are quite new to me, like these pastel and metallic textured papers. So pretty!
So far, I have only been sticking on the paper but the plan is to add a little embellishment to the corners with this lovely washi masking tape I got from Washimatta on Etsy.
Here’s a couple of my testers with masking tape strips. I’ve put these up in my shop, in case you fancy one. Now to get back to the rest of my order – only another 38 to go!
