Since I’ve spent most of the Summer working on things for other people, I’m taking a little bit of time to do something fun for me. It doesn’t have to profitable or finished by a certain date, or be as perfect as possible, hurray! So, as you can see, I bought some perler beads and they are really appealing to my Picross-loving mind. I think this may be the first in a series of grid-based crafts I’m going to try over the next few months. Themed challenges are always good.
Here’s a little test I did of part of the image I want to make. I’m waiting on a much bigger board to arrive before I can start the real thing. I’ll tell you more about it when I’m further along – there’s a whole story behind it.
Also good this week – getting a perfectly placed almost-full Moon right outside my window on a clear night. I grabbed my telescope and got an awesome view – I could see so much detail. I’m hoping to catch Jupiter next month.
