Kookizu Drew Me!

kookizu

I remember Sarah from Kookizu introducing her work to me at Super Cute Kawaii a few years ago, and I’ve been a big fan ever since, from the early jewellery through to her current experiments in 3D. So you can imagine how thrilled I was when she tweeted me this illustration of me! That is pretty much what I think my life looks like from inside my head. Go follow Kookizu on Tumblr for more ultra-cuteness.

Of course, this isn’t the first time I’ve been kawaii-fied as I also had the honour of being the very first Maqaroon blogger illustration back in 2011. Joanna drew me and Claire in our SCK guises and that certainly got our attention. It’s been awesome watching the Maqaroon brand grow since then. Instagram’s the best place to follow Maqaroon, although Joanna also posts some great stuff on her blog, and needle felting tutorials on YouTube too.

Yay for creative online pals!
