asking for trouble

Behind The Scenes

If you don’t follow me on Instagram, here’s a few behind the scenes photos I’ve posted recently.

Most hilarious printer mistake yet!

After my post on printer problems recently, my card printers did their best mess-up yet. I received 50 of one design printed perfectly, 50 of another design missing the background and 50 completely blank with just my logo! They’re rushing me some new ones, but I’ll have to think of something fun to do with these.

Packaging up lots of badge sets this afternoon.

I’ve been busy on the sofa this week packaging up products ready for your orders. I love seeing all my badges laid out in rows and badge sets are all back in stock now.

ghost brooch

I also glued up some more brooches including this cool ghost. The acrylic pieces come with a protective plastic on top and sometimes the design looks so great I almost don’t want to remove it.

This cat tape is turning out to be even more fun than I imagined.

I always put a bit of tape on the corners of gift wrap parcels in case the rain gets in. I’m using some super kawaii cat tape just now and this happened – I couldn’t not make long sausage cat. I hope the customer and the postman enjoyed it! (I got the tape from Yozo Craft – it’s sold out now, but this one is similar in a thinner size)

Packing orders and doodling thank you notes.

I’ve had some fun doodle requests from customers recently, which I never remember to photograph, but here’s some standard ones that I send out with everyone’s orders. I try to draw something that matches what you bought and fruit, ghosts, planets and Fuji are the most common.

Vector previews of tiny characters at high magnification = always hilarious.

And a little screenshot from when I was updating my wholesale site. The little character buttons are super tiny so I was working at high magnification and the preview images when adding vector characters were killing me. That winking apple and shifty looking banana!

Here’s how they looked in the end. I’ve just updated the ones on my main shop too, so you can browse products featuring your favourite characters.
