Japan Recap: Day 13 & 14

I’m posting quick recaps from my Japan holiday on Mondays and Fridays to collect all the links to my highlight lists and full daily photos. More in depth posts to come!

Nagoya from the ferris wheel

Day 13

I took the Shinkansen over to Nagoya for my first visit to the city. It got off to a good start with a kawaii ferris wheel opposite my hotel, which I had to go on. I spent the afternoon at Higashiyama Zoo & Botanical Garden, where I saw lots of beautiful flowers and a sleepy koala.

DAY 14

I have been going on about Usagito bunny cafe for years (it’s the cover of my Next Time in Japan zine) and I finally got to visit. It was one of the major highlights of my trip with lots of friendly bunnies to pet including a 1 month tiny baby bunny. My bunny ears mug is the best souvenir of the whole trip too. I also checked out the Science Museum in the morning, which had some great space stuff.
