One of the things I’ve been working on this month is sorting out my digital products so here’s a look at what’s new.
100 Days of Kawaii Characters ebook
While tinkering with all my digital products, I decided to make my 100 Days of Kawaii Characters book available as a digital download. If you don’t want to buy the limited edition print book, you can relive my 100 Day Project with the PDF, viewable on your computer, tablet or phone. Don’t all the characters look cute together?
Digital Books, Zines & Printables Changes
Ever since the whole VAT thing stopped me from selling digital products directly, I’ve had the problem of how to let customers know they exist. Previously, I still listed them as products in my shop, with links to where to buy, but this is causing some problems. Here’s what’s happening now.
Where to find my digital downloads
All my digital zines, printables and freebies are in my Payhip store for instant download. This was always the case, but they’ve added a collections feature so its easy to browse for things like my Japan guides, printable sets or free printables. All my paid downloads can also be found in my Etsy shop.
Shopify is print-only with new pages and menus
My main Shopify store now only lists my print books and zines. If something is marked sold out, that means the print edition and you can still download a digital version. Just click through to the product page for the links. Printables and fabric/sewing patterns have been removed completely and are only available from Payhip/Etsy/Spoonflower.
I’ve also updated the shop menus so it’s easier to find what you’re looking for. For example, the Books & Zines menu has info pages for my Japan guides (where to buy print, digital and ebook editions) and digital PDF zines. The Art & Crafts menu has info pages for free printables, cross stitch patterns and fabric.
There’s also a new More menu with links to all the free stuff, Patreon, licensed products etc.
If you like freebies, join my Patreon or mailing list
My older free printables, free zines and free wallpapers are still available for everyone but new ones are being shared on my Patreon (and some with my mailing list). Patrons can also download individual wallpapers instead of a zipped batch. Patreon is the only way to get all my new wallpapers and printables (and most for just $1 a month).
Don’t worry, all links are redirecting
All the original links have been redirected to the new product, collection or page so if you’ve saved a bookmark or click on an old blog post link you should still end up at the right place.
Let me know if you have any problems!
