Kawaii Teru Teru Bozu On-Demand

I finished all my spring designs so it’s time to move on to summer themes. Teru Teru Bozu are handmade Japanese dolls that are hung up as good weather charms for rainy season. I originally drew one for my 100 Day Project, then made 4 in a sketchy style for a Patreon wallpaper back in 2019. Now they’re available my print-on-demand stores too.

This was a fun one to turn into a repeat pattern since they’re hanging on strings. I don’t think you would ever really hang them like this but it adds a nice pinstripe effect. There’s 4 different characters and one is based on the Teru Teru Bozu I made at Hyper Japan!
