Bookhearts? Heartmarks?

Washi bookmarks

I had a little thought today while turning over a completely different idea and now I have washi bookmarks. You can get these metal bookmarks in Paperchase and it was a simple thing to cut out shapes from my many many scraps of washi and glue them in the middle. I like the way they look very much so from now on, all of my notebooks will come with a free matching bookmark! All the better for you to keep that shopping list, favourite doodle or to do list right at hand.

Washi bookmarks

Speaking of notebooks, I’ve been working on a new set which are a little bit different from the usual. Still cute, still Japanese but with one big difference. Wait and see!
