Disappearing Act

Panda Sausage Bunny

Sorry I haven’t been around – things have been ridiculously busy round here. But first, LOOK at my panda sausage bunny! My sister made him for me based on this hilarious Japanese fabric and he really is awesome. Hopefully she’ll be making some plush from her own designs soon – I will let you know!

Findo Gask

The diskant party also went well – lots of paying punters, great venue and amazing sound. Findo Gask headlined in awesome style and even brought their fancy visuals with them which made for fun photography. They’ve come on so much since I first saw them a couple of years ago and wouldn’t even let me me pay them. Blub. You should go check out their Myspace and buy their excellent 12″.

Sunnyvale Noise Sub-element

Sunnyvale Noise Sub-element also played, right after driving all the way from Oxford. They sounded the best I’ve heard them yet and went down really well. I only wish they could have stayed in Glasgow for longer as we had to pack a lot of fun times and catching up into only a few hours. They also have a Myspace and you can buy their records in my shop.

Indie Tombola

Non-fuzzy and/or dark photos of the Indie Tombola are sadly lacking but you get the idea. The tombola was incredibly popular and busy all night. We had some very pleased prizewinners and almost everything was won by the end of the night. Sadly I spent most of my evening running around checking the bands were happy and my minions awesome helpers weren’t having any problems so I didn’t get to take many photos or fully enjoy the tombola experience. Thanks also to everyone who came down and sorry if I didn’t get a chance to chat properly. There are more photos linked on the diskant 080808 page.

I have had time to make a few things, including adding some initial badges and book hearts to the shop. I have a whole bunch of these knocking around with various initials. I try and keep a lookout for customers with these initials so they get a personalised freebie but I hardly ever seem to have the right initials. So they are all in the shop and I’ll be adding more very soon.

As for what I am currently very busy with, I can’t tell you yet! This really is the worst part of being a blogger. I am not writing a book though, heh. Hopefully all will be revealed soon. I also have a bunch of new stuff to make for stockists, upcoming craft markets and some other minor holiday that takes place in December.

Back soon, I hope!
