asking for trouble

Last Chance!

Listen up! Any orders I get before Midday tomorrow (Friday) will be posted in time for Christmas (if you trust the Royal Mail) but anything after that may not be shipped until 5th January 2009. The shop (and Etsy and Folksy) will remain open but I won’t be here for a week as I’ll be Up North stuffing my face with cake. I will attend to orders promptly on my return and I’ll probably pop in a free gift or two to ease the pain of waiting. I’ll have my laptop at all times so feel free to email if you have a question!

Above are my personal Christmas cards for this year (though I ran out and had to break open the last of my photo cards for a few folks). It’s one of my button illustrations which looks a bit like a snowflake. I’m guessing only about 1 person will make that connection but oh well. They also have a nice deckled edge. I had something more elaborate planned but I ran out of time because I had SO MANY ORDERS! So THANK YOU so much to everyone who bought things or came along to the many markets – it’s been a really busy Christmas but I’ve enjoyed almost all of it. I didn’t enjoy the bits where I froze to death.

BUNNY!

I’ve already got everything I wanted for Christmas, as I am now the happy owner of a bunny vase, thanks to the lovely Claire and Jo. They made me open it early so they could watch me blub, which I almost did. YAY! I need to look up some paper flower tutorials now. I hope my friends and family are as happy with their gifts. I have a couple of things I am very excited about people opening. More of that after Christmas.

I did get the fun of opening a parcel of kawaii for the Super Cute Kawaii shop, including these adorable milk coin purses. Needless to say, we have both swiped one for our own use. The SCK shop has finished shipping for 2008 but you can still order yourself one of these cuties and we’ll send him over in a couple of weeks.

Well, my Christmas cards are all in the post, my presents are almost all wrapped and the tree is up (but not decorated as I am terrible at it) so I might just relax for a bit now. Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Alice for today – if you don’t already read her blog then it’s about time you did.
