Me and Claire went on a day trip to Edinburgh on Saturday to shop! Our friends at Hannah Zakari have just opened a real life shop in the Grassmarket so we were keen to have a peek. It’s just round the corner from Greyfriars Bobby and looks really cute from the outside with its painted shutters.
Inside Rachael has done an amazing job and everything looks perfect with quirky displays and lovely furniture. I was very happy to spot my products everywhere I looked – sharing a stationery cabinet with the amazing boygirlparty, peeking out of drawers and bags, and my cards even have their own shelf!
There’s also lots of tempting things on display. One day I will own all of these, though I could make do with a little grey bunny (out of shot) to match my white bunny vase.
We also checked out Red Door Gallery as Claire has her very own Miso Funky window display there. If you know her work, that’s a special giant-sized sampler up there, not a tiny window.
We also popped in to another new craft shop, The Spider and The Fly, though I seem not to have taken any photos, oops. Here’s a pic from their blog of one of the pieces in the mail art exhibition with a cute bunny. There were lots of nice things to see in here too.
And then finally, we rounded off the day with a shopping spree in Paperchase and some awesome cake. Hurray! More photos from the day can be found on my Flickr.
