asking for trouble

Some Recent Purchases

Paperchase bag I got in the sale. Also bag mascots from Japan.

I remember one person wrote in my survey that they liked reading about stuff I bought so this one is for you, whoever you are. This is all clothes and accessories because the only other things I buy are books and cake.

My beloved Tokyo Trippers rucksack from Paperchase has been tearing itself apart for the last few months. I was planning on replacing it with a GB Trippers version when they went on sale but – woe – they don’t have a bottle holder or inside pockets. Instead I got this big shopper, which is working out pretty well. Seems to be sold out now, but there might be some in stores. The whole range is adorable – kawaii British things!

I have a general t-shirt ban in my wardrobe because it’s such a lazy option and I don’t really like how they fit either. So I was pleased to see Threadless have been expanding their range and now have v-neck and boat neck t-shirts. My favourites are the all over pattern ones  – I have this cat one and this amazing constellations one and I’ve just ordered these origami animals. The constellations one is so soft and comfy I’d have ordered a spare or two, but it’s sold out. I like the suggestions for a glow in the dark reprint – would buy.

(Also, if you haven’t seen the Threadless gif contest yet – it’s amazing.)

If you’ve met me recently, I was probably wearing my cat hoodie. It’s red and black and has cat ears on the hood. I love it very much. They’re all over eBay if you want one, although they are way more expensive now for some reason.

I haven’t bought any new cute shoes in aages. I saw these on Tumblr and had to buy them. Stripes! Ruffles! Bows! They’re from YesStyle and are surprisingly great quality. They have way too many cute shoes so I’m sure I’ll be back. I’m on the hunt for some yellow shoes – I think I may have to buy these sandals from Modcloth.

Looking at these photos, I should also do a post about things I bought in Japan that I use all the time. I am also clearly overdue a what I wore drawing.
