As previously mentioned, I am a fan of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Mostly for her music but also because she wears amazing and hilarious outfits. I’ve always thought it would be fun to draw her so when Kyary Tumblr kyarychan called for submissions for a fan book to give to Kyary that was as good a reason as any.
I drew some Kyary Kokeshi in 3 of my favourite outfits (plus her collaboration with Mameshiba) and I had so much fun doing this. It’s easy to get caught up in work stuff and forget to do things just for fun.
Anyway, I liked them so much I made it into a pattern! I couldn’t decide on a colour so I made a few which are up on Spoonflower. A Kyary dress made from these would be pretty amazing.
Kind of wish the deadline had been later so I could have drawn bat hair plush panda belt Kyary too.
