Japan Recap: Day 1 & 2

I’m going to start off my Japan holiday content with a quick recap of each day. While I documented my trip daily on Instagram, li.st and Tumblr, I’m now uploading all my photos to Flickr, so these posts will be a kind of directory for all the links. I’ll try and share new photos on these posts too.

Nice to be reunited with Qoo!

Day 1

This mostly involved travelling, but I did pick up one of my favourite drinks (Qoo!) and pop over to Shibuya to start shopping. This badge won the prize for first purchase and stayed on my  backpack all trip.

DAY 2

My main reason for being in Japan was to visit Design Festa, which was as exhausting and inspirational as ever. I ended up spending the whole day on Odaiba because it’s just so much fun with everything from retro arcade malls to giant Gundam models and amazing (and hilarious) illuminations.

Look out for new recaps on Mondays and Fridays! I’m also planning more in depth articles about places I visited, new favourite shops, my hotel, Pocket Wifi etc., but they’ll take more time to prepare.
