Reading
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Since she was on tour with Rainbow Rowell, I thought it would be only polite to read one of her books beforehand. I’m really glad to have discovered her! Six of Crows reminds me a little of Firefly with a group of lovable rogues from an alternate fantasy Amsterdam trying to pull off an impossible heist. Great dialogue, strong characters and lots of clever twists. Trying so hard not to buy the sequel.
Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The ebook finally got a price drop after monitoring it regularly for well over a year. I loved her first book but this is so much better and really feels like getting a bunch of gossipy emails. Also I think we can all empathise with that tiny hope of impressing BJ with our writing.
