I have to confess that I’m getting a little bit worried about completing my 100 Days of Kawaii Characters project in a timely manner. I’m not even half way through yet and there’s so many more drawings to do! I’m still enjoying it but it does take up a lot of my time. Here’s a look back at the last 12 days – for the daily posts, follow me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.
Days 25-28
- Umbrella – I somehow managed to post this on a rare day with no rain. (Illustrator)
- Strawberries – missing from my 5 A Day and wearing crowns because fresh strawberries are the best. (Illustrator)
- Bell Peppers – an old pattern idea I never finished. (Illustrator/Photoshop)
- Ghost Bunny – a quick one to finish the month. (Illustrator)
Days 29-32
- Snail – requested by my cousin. I really like these colours. (Illustrator)
- Mountains – I wish I had a timelapse of this. I started with Mt Fuji and then changed pretty much every line. (Illustrator)
- Kite – I’m really tired of windy days, but it must be nice for kites. (Illustrator)
- Jumpluff – one of my favourite Pokemon. I wish they were real! (Adobe Sketch/iPad)
Days 33-36
- Ice Lollies pattern – with new flavours! (Illustrator)
- Spider – this got way more likes – and less screaming – than I expected. (Illustrator)
- Lion – not entirely successful but I was trying to make it out of circles. (Illustrator)
- Sea Urchin – requested by my sister. (Illustrator/Photoshop)
