I Wrote A Book! The Super Cute Book of Kawaii

If you haven’t heard yet, the big news is that I wrote a book! The Super Cute Book of Kawaii will be published next July by Pop Press and here’s what it looks like.

The Super Cute Book of Kawaii

There’s a little more info over at Super Cute Kawaii but basically it’s full of all the cute stuff SCK is known for: kawaii characters, DIY crafts, recipes, fashion, shopping, Japan and more. I created a lot of characters and patterns for inside and the design and (squishy!) cover art is by Sophie at Maru Studio who did an incredible job. I can’t wait for you to see how cute it all is.

If you like my characters, blog posts, Japan guides and tutorials, you will definitely enjoy this book. You can preorder a copy now from Amazon UK or The Book Depository (with free delivery worldwide) and I would be so grateful if you do. Most of the work was done last winter and I worked so hard to keep everything else running as normal instead of disappearing. I was drawing illustrations on Boxing Day and photographing recipes on New Year’s Day!

Obviously, I have a billion stories I want to share about the making of this book and that will all happen next year. Thank you for all your kind comments and enthusiasm so far!
