I’m sharing quick day recaps of my Japan trip while I upload all my photos to Flickr. You can also catch up on my whole trip in my saved Instagram story and Postcards From Japan posts on Patreon.
Day 5
The biggest day of the trip! We squeezed in a quick visit to the Sumikko Gurashi shop at Character Street before heading over to the Pokemon Center for lunch at the Pokemon Cafe. The food was really cute (and pretty good too), plus we got to meet Eevee. After some shopping, it was already time to head over to Odaiba for teamLab Planets. This digital museum was such a cool experience and so hard to describe – I will write about it in detail later. We were so tired after but managed a little wander around Odaiba.
Day 6
We ditched my Yokohoma plans today to catch up on some shopping as time was running out. Sadly we still wasted so much time queuing for things and travelling – Tokyo is big and has far too many people! We managed some shopping in Harajuku before heading over to Ikebukuro to see Cheshire Cat Rilakkuma. I love how crazy everyone is about mascots in Japan – all ages and genders can’t stop themselves taking a million photos and reaching to touch their hand. We also had dinner at Genki Sushi, where you order on touch screens and the food is delivered by a little cart.
