March was Bunny Month on my Patreon so let’s have a look at some of the things I was working on.

My main aim was to update my Bunny to be a little different to the Super Cute Kawaii mascots and match my cats more so I can hopefully create some new animal characters in future that will all look cute together. You can see how I combined the cat and SCK Bunny into a new character.

These are some of the finished bunnies that I had printed on to postcards for my Happy Mail patrons. There’s bunny breeds with different colours/markings, spring bunnies with flowers and bunny emotions.

The latter are inspired by versions of my characters that I made for The Super Cute Book of Kawaii so the designer could have them react to different things.

I also created some repeat patterns, including an updated version of my Bunny Bows in pastel and neon rainbows. These are all being swatched right now on Spoonflower so I can sell them on fabric soon, and I’ll also add them to my on-demand stores this month.

My Happy Mail tier now includes a new or exclusive product every month and my patrons got to vote on their favourites. The winners were the postcards above and this holographic sticker. The extras will be available from my Patreon-only shop soon and I plan to make some sticker bundles for my own shop too.

My patrons also get exclusive printables – this month there were bunny breeds stickers (below) and this printable garland. The garland is the same size as my free Easter Bunnies garland so you can mix and match.
I was going to add this to my Payhip store as a freebie but it’s still a little depressing seeing all the download emails for my current freebies but getting zero feedback. This is an ongoing freebie for $1+ patrons so if it’s not worth $1 to you, fair enough.

I enjoyed Bunny Month so much, I changed how I run my Patreon. Now I have a theme for each month and you can follow along with my design process and help choose the rewards. April is Snail Mail month and there’s a poll up at the moment to pick favourites from 21 different designs for writing paper, notepads and mini notelets! Come on over and see.
