I had a lot of fun making donuts at Hannah Zakari last Friday. Here’s a look back at the day.

Edinburgh during the festival is not my favourite place to be but it was pouring with rain at home and warm and sunny in Edinburgh so I was happy to be there. I set up at the lovely Hannah Zakari shop (who have stocked my products for a decade) and hoped people would turn up.

Luckily they did and we had a great time making donuts together and taking about kawaii. Everyone was so creative and I managed to take photos of some of my favourite donuts.

I really loved the layered Oreo donut and made one of my own, though it’s more like a fancy patisserie donut. I also made Pusheen! She was pretty easy thanks to the cute face stamp I got in my Pusheen Box a couple of years ago.

It was a really fun day and I’d love to do it again. If you’d like me to come and make donuts at your shop/bookstore/library please get in touch. There’s some information on my new freelance website.

If you’re very quick, you can enter our giveaway on the Hannah Zakari Instagram before it ends at 12pm today. There’s a chance to win a signed copy of The Super Cute Book of Kawaii, a cute Asking For Trouble prize pack and a £25 HZ gift voucher!
