Thanks to my new Kallax unit, I had to change up my Christmas decorations a bit this year so made sure to take some photos.
When I changed up my living room, I did wonder what I was going to do with my Christmas tree and decorations that usually sat on a low unit, but I thought it would be a good opportunity to move some things around. That worked out really well and feels like I have a few little framed themed displays.
My Christmas tree is on a footstool that I covered in a tablecloth and my favourite thing this year is Snowman gang! This kind of happened naturally so I decided to go with it and hunted up all the little snowmen. Pride of place is for my 2 handmade snowmen – pom pom tutorial and paper-band craft kit.
Here’s a closer look at my tree, including an adorable ceramic snowman near the top that I bought in Edinburgh recently. I only put up about half my usual ornaments as you can’t really see the back.
I also bought a new gingerbread man (from Jellycat, centre) to add to my growing collection! The snowman is there because he came with the Noodoll plush and I feel like they’d be sad apart.
My mantelpiece is very similar to last year but I’m always happy to get my felt holly garland and stockings up.
Usually, I share my personal Christmas card but I’m not sure very many of them have arrived yet! They’re also really new year cards and I will be doing a tutorial for SCK in the new year if you want to make some for the year of the rabbit.
