asking for trouble

January 2024 Recap

Here’s a look back at my month with photos, blog posts, books and more. It’s been an incredibly boring month with back to back storms so I’ve barely been anywhere or seen anyone for the entire month and had to cancel two work trips to Glasgow. I did at least get to see The Boy and the Heron at the cinema (so good, especially the warawara!)

This massive piece of wood appeared on the beach during Storm Isha. It’s at least twice as wide as it looks here!

Plans & Goals Progress

  • I’ve read 8 books for my reading challenge (including 2 from my IRL stack), 5 ahead of schedule! Here’s my new page for 2024 mini reviews.
  • I’ve been working on my Woodland Wonders felt garland kit
  • New recipes – I didn’t really use recipes but I made risotto for the first time in years and experimented with a different kind of Instant Pot soup. Both successes.
  • I’ll be starting this section properly next month as I have a whole post coming up first. You might notice my blog looks a bit different…
