My birthday was at the end of March but I didn’t do anything much as I have a little trip to Belgium coming up in April so this is mostly gifts. I shared a few other bits in my March Recap post.
The weather was really terrible but I managed to make it to the patisserie and bought the cutest cake they had, which was also really good (mango, lime and coconut!). It’s a bit bigger than it looks – my new cake forks (another gift) have very long handles.
As always, I got a lot of bunnies, including a new vase from my mum, and an adorable decoration from Nic that will be staying up all year round.
My mum got me these adorable bunny bookends too. They look very sweet hugging each other but I’ll need to pick out some special books to display.
I got lots more cute things too. You can’t really see, but the lights are also bunnies. I forgot to take a closer photo of the Miffy pin but the bicycle wheels spin round!
Here’s a closer look at some of the things Nic got me. Hanamaruobake is now on my new big backpack, the little bunny is perfect for my pouch and I look forward to adding a My Sweet Piano charm to various things.
I also requested a tablet holder for my bike so I can actually read all the information on the screen while riding (some blanked out as I prefer to be anonymous on Zwift and don’t need anyone judging my stats). Also means I can put my Kindle there instead if I’m doing a boring ride and there isn’t anything to watch on TV.
