asking for trouble

New Beginnings

Glasgow Sunrise

Mailing list subscribers have already heard this but the big news in my world is that I have handed in my notice at my full time web designing job and will be trying the freelance life again from March 1st. In the interests of honesty, I am not making enormous amounts of money from Asking For Trouble but there is a lot of potential for expansion which I don’t have the time for when I’m working full time. So I have saved up some money to live on and I’ll be giving it my best shot. You can expect a LOT more blogging come March and hopefully lots of new product lines and ideas. It’s all very exciting and I hope to share some of my plans and ideas and hiccups here.

One of the things that is currently in the works is a printed zine version of the Tokyo Shopping Guide so you can take it with you if you go to Japan. I have a few other zines planned as well – it’s something I used to do a lot of when I was younger but since I set up diskant (almost ten years ago!) everything just seems to end up online. Now I have my gocco, I definitely want that to change.

I’m also planning a new competition for February so watch this space!
