asking for trouble

If you can’t beat ’em…

Etsy! Everyone loves Etsy, right? I think I must buy about 50% of my gifts for friends (and treats for me) off Etsy these days. For selling, it never seemed quite the right fit for me and I’ve found Shopify to be much more flexible and feature-filled. However, there’s been a total boom in popularity for Etsy and everyone is talking about Etsy and doing regular posts about Etsy sellers (even me!) so it kind of feels at the moment that if you’re not on Etsy then you don’t exist.

So, I have been pondering this for a while and have just opened a little Etsy shop. Since it is complementing my main shop and not replacing it, I won’t be selling the same things in each. The Etsy shop will be for special collections (like I did for Falkirk) with some overlap for things that aren’t one of a kind (eg, the kawaii keyrings, badge sets etc.). I will be taking my Etsying seriously and not just dumping stuff there and expecting the Etsy popularity to automatically shine on me. There’s only a few things on there for now but I will be adding more over the next few weeks so do heart me and check back!

In other news, one of the tasks that has been on my To Do list for a looong time is now finished. That is, I now have a press pack! If you’d like to have a look you can download it by clicking here.

If you’re in need of a press pack yourself to showcase your wares to the press and new stockists then I’m available for hire. Have a look at my portfolio and get in touch. I also do Etsy banners, blog banners, Shopify styling and websites, and I’m very friendly and affordable!
