asking for trouble

Recent Purchases: May & June

I’ve been allowing myself a few fun purchases this month so here’s what I’ve been buying.

kawaii ghost enamel pin

My Little Ghost is good friends with Spooky McCute so I had to pick up his new sleepy enamel pin. Look at the cute little drawing on the envelope!

kawaii coloring book

Kira also included some fun extras so I’m looking forward to doing some colouring. I’ll review the book on SCK next month if you’re interested. Or just go buy all this stuff from KiraKira Doodles.

kawaii sushi enamel pins

I’ll need to share another photo of my enamel pin board soon as I have a few additions. I needed these Cakes With Faces Zooshi pins for my animal/food section.

pikachu mascot figure

Really, my one hope for my next Japan trip is that we meet a Pikachu mascot. They’re just so cute – especially when there’s an outbreak. I found these tiny versions at Japan Stuffs – you get one at random and I was happy with the original, but I hope there are some of the others left in store by October so I can pick up Dittochu too.

Hello Kitty kawaii playing cards

My Surprise Mail Swap replies have been taking a while as everyone was so generous and I needed to up my game. I didn’t really have anything on hand to make DIY washi tape sample cards so I searched up some cute playing cards. These Hello Kitty happy families cards are really cute and the perfect size for a few rows of tape – and only £2.5o with free delivery!

paperchase pufferfish pen

I’ve been in Glasgow a few times lately, packing a usual year’s worth of cinema trips into a few weeks. I didn’t buy much but found myself drawn to this pineapple shirt in Gap. It’s been great as an extra light layer on hot days. The pufferfish pen is from Paperchase and I wish I’d got his friends too as it writes really nicely.

kawaii cat calendar

And June is very late to be buying a calendar but my Google calendar was getting too full to understand. I should do a post about all the ways I keep track of stuff. I was happy to still be able to pick up this fun Peachi the cat calendar from We Are Extinct, which is now adding some more cuteness to my kitchen.

kawaii gameboy enamel pins

And obviously, I couldn’t leave these Gameboy pins behind. Nostalgia!
