Planning For Japan: 1 Week to Go!

japan 2016

What?! I still don’t really believe that I’m going.

What have I been doing since the last update?

I thought I would have tons more to blog about once I got to the last few weeks, but that seems not to be the case! I have just been finishing up my itinerary, ordering currency, doing last minute shopping, trying to decide what to pack and organising a lot of internet things to cover my absence. All the usual pre-holiday stuff.

Here’s a few updates though:

I went through and updated all my Tokyo Shopping Guide posts since some shops have moved or closed or changed name. Those posts are just the tip of the iceberg though. I’ll be writing about more of my favourite shops, sights and areas when I return and you can get hundreds more ideas from my new Planning for Japan guide book. Thank you so much for all your orders too! I hope you all have awesome trips.

I’ve also been writing a lot about Japan at The List App. Here’s some of my favourites.

That’s about it for these posts! I hope they’ve been helpful and of some interest and you can read back through the whole series here. I will be sharing my adventures online when I’m in Japan – more info on that next week.
