Here’s a look back at the last couple of months with photos, blog posts, plans & goals progress, links and more.
What I’ve been up to
Pretty much the only notable thing that happened in March was my birthday, which is why I didn’t bother doing a recap post but April was a lot more fun. Spring finally arrived with our famous street of pink blossoms, I finished a new craft kit, tried lots more Japanese snacks and had to take my bedroom apart to be repainted. Most excitingly, I finally went on my trip to Berlin! I totally lost my blogging motivation but hopefully it is back as I have lots to catch up.

Plans & Goals Progress
- Books, Comics & Zines I Read in 2024 (5 more, 4 ahead of schedule!)
- I am currently reading Dracula in the format it was actually intended to be read
Links I Loved
- I don’t talk about my other job much but we just relaunched the company as Kooble and it’s all very exciting (I did not do much!). If you live in Scotland or are planning a trip, check out all our offers.
- What I Would Do If I Were Starting Book Riot Today really resonated with me and I feel a lot of very similar things about SCK. It’s hard! We were lucky to start when we did.
- Also really enjoyed Vinita Joshi (of indie label Rocket Girl)’s Favourite Albums at The Quietus. Great stories and such nostalgia.
- Dracula Daily starts again very soon – I really recommend it.
- I Am Acrylic’s Random Phrase brooches made from old Stonehenge information signs are so funny and brilliant. There’s another batch coming soon too.
- A reminder that I share all my kawaii & Japan links on the Super Cute Kawaii newsletter. It’s free!
